Which output should I use?

PDF Keep a document. PDF pages are copied without being turned into pictures, so their text stays selectable.
PNG One image per page that keeps text and line art crisp. Files can be large.
JPG Smaller page images that suit photos and scans. No transparency.
WebP Compact page images for the web, available when your browser can save WebP.

Exporting more than one page as images gives you a ZIP file.

Things to know

Office files Word, Excel and PowerPoint files are printed into pages — this is not an Office editor. The first one downloads a local conversion engine after asking you, and needs desktop Chrome or Edge.
DjVu DjVu pages come in as page images, so searchable text, bookmarks and links are not kept in the PDF you export.
Limits Up to 2,000 pages per workspace. Image, TIFF and DjVu files can be up to 100 MB each. Very large PDFs may switch to memory-saving previews, or be refused when the estimated browser memory is too high.
Local processing Your files stay in your browser and are never uploaded. Some formats download their processing engine the first time you use them.

Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded?

No. Pages are read, arranged and exported inside your browser tab, so your files never leave your device. DjVu, TIFF and Office support download their processing engine the first time you need it, but your documents are not sent anywhere.

Which file types can I open?

PDF, JPG, PNG and WebP images, DjVu, TIFF, and Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx) and PowerPoint (.pptx) files. PDFs that need a password to open aren't supported yet.

Which formats can I export?

PDF, PNG, JPG and WebP. WebP is offered when your browser can save it; if it can't, the workspace says so instead of quietly switching formats.

Can I merge and reorder PDFs?

Yes. Add several PDFs — even the same one twice — and drag the pages into any order before you export. Your original files are never changed; every export is a new file.

How do I export only some pages?

Every page starts selected. Untick the pages you don't want, hold Shift to select a run, type numbers like 1,5-9,12 into Select range, or use Clear selection and tick just the pages you need. Only the selected pages are exported.

Can I edit PDF text or run OCR here?

No. The workspace works with whole pages: it doesn't edit text, fill in forms or recognise text in scans. It also doesn't compress PDFs or split one PDF into several files in one step.

What are the file and page limits?

A workspace holds up to 2,000 pages at a time. Image, TIFF and DjVu files can be up to 100 MB each. PDFs have no fixed size limit: very large ones switch to memory-saving previews, and are only refused when the estimated browser memory would be too high. Very large documents take longer on a phone than on a laptop.
