How to convert a PDF to PNG
- Add your PDF. Every page shows up as a thumbnail and PNG is already selected as the output.
- Want only some pages? Every page starts selected — untick the ones you don't need, or use Select range with
1,5-9,12. - Press Export PNG. One page downloads as a single PNG; several pages come back as a ZIP in page order.
- Nothing is uploaded, and your PDF stays loaded so you can export a different set of pages straight after.
Resolution and file names
Each PDF page is rendered 1500 px wide, with the height following the page proportions — an A4 portrait page comes out around 1500 × 2121 px. That width is fixed.
With a single PDF loaded, files are named after it and numbered by the page they came from: report-page-001.png, report-page-005.png. Selecting pages 5 and 9 gives you 005 and 009, not 001 and 002.

Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF is read and rendered inside your browser tab. Nothing is sent to a server, so there is nothing to delete afterwards.
Can I choose the resolution?
Not on this page. Pages render at a fixed 1500 px width, which is a good balance between sharpness and file size for screen use and reprinting.
Why is one page a PNG but several pages a ZIP?
A single page downloads directly because that's what you asked for. Several pages would mean several downloads in a row, so they are packed into one ZIP in page order instead.
Does it work with encrypted PDFs?
No — password-protected PDFs are not supported. Such a file is rejected with a clear message rather than silently producing empty pages.
Can I get JPG instead?
Yes — change Export as to JPG (or WebP) before exporting. PNG is simply what this page starts with.
